Data Protection complaints procedure

SR Sports Therapy is committed to protecting your personal data and handling it responsibly.

If you have a concern about how we have used your personal information, we will take it seriously and aim to resolve it quickly and fairly.

1. How to raise a complaint

You can raise a data protection complaint by contacting us using one of the following methods:

Please include:

• your name and contact details,

• a description of your concern,

• any relevant dates or details to help us investigate.

2. Who is responsible

The person responsible for handling data protection matters is:

Clinic Owner / Data Lead: Steven Rands (Graduate Sports Therapist).

They are responsible for

• logging and managing complaints,

• investigating concerns,

• responding to individuals.

3. How we handle your complaint

Once we receive your complaint, we will:

   1. Acknowledge your complaint within 30 days.

   2. Record the complaint in our internal log.

   3. Review the details and carry out an investigation.

   4. Contact you if we need further information.

   5. Keep you updated if the matter takes longer to resolve.

We aim to resolve all complaints without undue delay.

4. Outcome

Once we have completed our investigation, we will:

• explain what we found,

• confirm any actions we have taken.

• let you know if any changes will be made.

If you are unhappy with our response, you have the right to escalate your concern to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):
