We want to be transparent to any one who uses SR Sports Therapy and are therefore making our risk assessment and procedure changes available on our website below, so you can be assured knowing what we are implementing prior to any appointments.
We ask all our new patients to complete a couple of forms online ahead of the appointment. You will find these sent across in a separate email to your booking confirmation - these are sent out by a therapist, so give us a little time to get these across. You will be able to complete these on a tablet, phone, laptop or computer and they will be saved automatically on our end once finished!
On the day of the appointment, the car park may be very busy due to various sessions at Active Arena - in the event of that occurring and there are no car parking spaces in the car park, just park in the Marks & Spenser's car park and walk across. We ask all patients to please wait outside the clinic room until their appointment slot if they arrive early rather than the main bar of Active Arena.
Enter the main building entrance, turn left, walk past the two downstairs pitches and at the end of the corridor is the clinic room and waiting area.
Although there is changes in general guidance regarding PPE, we have received confirmation from our governing body, The Society of Sports Therapists, that face masks should be worn still in healthcare settings. We therefore request that patients, unless exempt, to continue to wear face masks in the clinic room due to the length of time we are likely to be in close contact; Our therapists and staff will continue to wear the appropriate PPE and conduct temperature checks prior to entry. We will notify you if there are any changes to this prior to any future appointments. You will be met at the clinic door where you will be temperature checked. If there are any change to your answers for the COVID declaration between now and your appointment, please contact us and we can re-arrange the appointment at no extra cost.
